Navy brings donated 300 food packs for typhoon victims in Marikina City

The Philippine Navy’s Civil-Military Operations Group-Philippine Navy (CMOG-PN) recently turned over 300 food packs donated by Marikina Rover Scout Circle Three in San Roque, Marikina City.

The said food packs are gathered through the Marikina Rover Scout Circle Three’s project called, “Show Love in a Shoe Box” with their target beneficiaries of 300 children ages 6 up to 12.

Each food pack consists of 2 kgs of rice, 5 pcs of canned goods, 6 sachets of coffee and 4 sachets of milk.

“CMOG-PN extends its sincerest appreciation to Marikina Rover Scout Circle Three for the trust and confidence to the Command to be their partner in this noble undertakings. As a reliable source of help in times of crisis, your PN through its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) continuously assists and provides mobility and manpower to our partner-stakeholders who are generously extending help through their donations to our fellow countrymen hit by typhoon ‘Rolly’ and ‘Ulysses’,” CMOG-PN said in its Facebook page.
